'Edna Purviance Birthday Auction' Auction is over! Thank-You for bidding! Special Poster created by Leading Ladies for Italy 2005

In 2005, Leading Ladies (a partnership of Lita and Ellie Hill and Linda Wada) created a poster for the Il Cinema Ritrovato festival in Bologna, Italy. Lita Hill, who is Edna’s grandniece, and I attended the festival as special guests of the 2005 event, which included a premiere of the restored version of "A Woman of Paris" shown at the Opera House.  After getting our ideas together, we had Wesley Wada design a poster from images in Edna Purviance's personal collection. Several of these are now in the collection of Edna's family members (one in the charming Edna bedroom in Lita's home), I personally have one in my collection, and the Chaplin Archives has one in theirs. We only have a few left and decided to auction one, and only one, to the public. All the posters were laminated for protection. The print makes quite an impressive collectible displayed in a 36"x 24" frame. The 10-day auction will start on eBay Thursday, October 11th, and will end Pacific coast time on the evening of Sunday, October 21st, Edna’s birthday. The auction will be available to worldwide buyers. Shipping and packaging will be in addition to the sale price. The poster will be shipped first class in a special mailing tube. We do not plan to auction off any more of these extraordinarily rare posters, so this is your chance to own this poster created from images in Edna's personal photo collection, which is in the care of Edna's family.
