Top Image - Last Edit In the current version, Chaplin crosses the street, while trying to push Jackie out of the way, as the policeman starts to follow. Chaplin walks onto the sidewalk, goes to the corner, and runs away. Bottom Image - 1950s Reissue In the earlier version, Chaplin and Jackie do the same scene, but a different take is used. This time, Chaplin stumbles on the curve, as he tries to watch the policeman. Maybe Chaplin used it because it has a more real feel? |
