| Charlie Chaplin's Films on VHS 1989 VHS Centennial Collection is the same collection recently restored for the current 2003/2004 Chaplin DVD Collection from MK2 and Warner Home Video. This is the collection with Chaplin's final edits. If you don't own a DVD player, this is the most complete collection of Chaplin films in the USA market on VHS. The current 2003/2004 MK2/Warner Chaplin Collection is not available on VHS. The 1989 VHS Centennial Collection is still available, but becoming rare, as the DVDs take over the VHS market. This was his first restored film from his silent work which Chaplin created a soundtrack. Includes 'Pay Day', Chaplin's last two-reel comedy. Edna Purviance plays the daughter to Chaplin's boss. |
