Also included is the delightful Marion Davies 1928 silent comedy 'Show People', where Chaplin makes a rare cameo appearances as himself. Chaplin at Keystone - 1914 - VHS Kino Video - VHS version Until all the Chaplin Keystone Films are properly restored and placed on DVD, these are the best Keystone Chaplin videos. These are available from Kino International. The Kino version is the one seen on Turner Classic Movies. Included on this VHS video: Chaplin's first film appearance in 'Making A Living', 'Caught In a Cabaret', 'Mabel's Busy Day', 'The Masquerader' and 'The Rounders'. The 1993 Kino version from Amazon is not in the same box as pictured and I can't not find much information on the Amazon site, but placed the link to the right for you to see. |
