This list is the best VHS films for Keystone, Essanay and Mutual Films from Amazon and Kino Video International. Other films included are Chaplin's film, 'Countess of Hong Kong' and CHAPLIN (the movie by Richard Attenborough - 1992). Also included is the delightful Marion Davies 1928 silent comedy 'Show People', where Chaplin makes a rare cameo appearances as himself. Chaplin at Keystone - 1914 - VHS Kino Video - VHS version Until all the Chaplin Keystone Films are properly restored and placed on DVD, these are the best Keystone Chaplin videos. These are available from Kino International. The Kino version is the one seen on Turner Classic Movies. Included on this VHS video: Chaplin's first film appearance in 'Making A Living', 'Caught In a Cabaret', 'Mabel's Busy Day', 'The Masquerader' and 'The Rounders'. The 1993 Kino version from Amazon is not in the same box as pictured and I can't not find much information on the Amazon site, but placed the link to the right for you to see. |

Charlie Chaplin Centennial Collection - VHS The Chaplin Revue CBS FOX Video - VHS - 1992 The Chaplin Centennial Collection was released by CBS FOX in 1989 for Chaplin's 100th Birthday. This video collection of all Chaplin's United Artists, First National and one of his two British Production films is the same collection that has been newly remastered by Warner Brother and MK2. The Centennial Video Collection is still on the market, but if you have a DVD player, it is best to spend the money on the new DVD Chaplin Collection. |

It is the first film to come out about Chaplin's life from his childhood to his later years. Chaplin's daughter, Geraldine Chaplin played Charlie's mother, Hannah. Charles Chaplin's Countness of Hong Kong - 1967 - DVD This is the least popular of Chaplin's films and mainly for the serious collector who desires to have all of Chaplin's films. It was Chaplin's last film. He did not star in it and only appeared in a cameo. It is also the only color film Chaplin made. Most remembered for Chaplin's song 'This is My Song' This is the new release of this film and is NOT part of the official Warner Brother Home Video Collection.
