Top Image - Last Edit In the current last edited film, the policeman walks around the chimmey without a problem, but it wasn't that way with every take. Bottom Image - 1950s Reissue In the earlier film, the police grabs the chimmey and the bricks moved under his hand. He pauses for a moment to fix it. It was all part of the same film scene as when Chaplin fell on the roof. Was this what the 1920's audience saw? |
